Welcome to My Fourth Grade English Wiki Page

My first writing project was to write five similes pertaining to the topic of Halloween. A simile compares two different things using like or as. Here are some that I wrote.

A big white skeleton is as white as a ghost.

A pale vampire’s face is as white as a skeleton.

The skinny skeleton is as skinny as a bone.

The scary skeleton is as creepy as a spooky haunted house.

The skeletons tall bones are as tall as a giant.

Learning Project-Monster Trucks

Fact Bigfoot is as old as Bigfoot Summit. Bigfoot drives in the monster jam. Bigfoot has a driver. Bigfoot is shaped like a truck. Bigfoot is a monster truck Opinion Bigfoot is as fast as a police car. Bigfoot is as awesome as Bigfoot Summit. Bigfoot is as neat as a bounty hunter. Bigfoot is as colorful as an airplane. Bigfoot is as cool as an elephant.

Leaning Project-Grave Digger external image Grave_digger.JPG

Grave Diggers driver is Dennis Anderson.

Grave Diggers body is a 1950 Chevy panel truck.

Grave Digger was conceived in 1981.

This first truck was a 1952 ford pickup truck.

Later it was converted to silver blue 1951 and Ford pickup truck.

The truck received its name when Anderson, amicably trash talking with his fellow racers, said the now famous line”I’ll take this old junk and dig you a grave with it”.

Grave Digger began competing in 1987 on the TNT Motorsports’ tour ageist trucks such as Bigfoot.

Grave Digger is a monster truck.

When Grave Digger trucks sit idle, their headlights are off but when they start up and enter competition they glow bright menacing red in color.

Grave Digger’s home is in kill devil hills, North Carolina.

The Wright Brothers plane was the first plane made.

By-Planes have two sets of wings.

What is a by-plane?

Wow, By-Planes where in World War 1!

Look at the pictures of the By-plane.

The Wright Flyer was the first powered aircraft designed by the Wright Brothers, and they flew it four times on December17, 1903.

The de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth is a 1930s By-plane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland, and it was operated by the Royal Air Force as a primary trainer.

Turboprop engines are a type of aircraft power plant that use a gas turbine to drive a propeller, and the turbofan is a type of aircraft jet based around a gas turbine engine.

The Grummang-64 Ag Cat is a single-engine By-plane agricultural aircraft, and was the first aircraft specifically designed by a major aircraft company.

In a by-plane aircraft, two wings are placed one above the other, but are not able to produce twice as much lift as a single wing of a similar size and shape.
