Welcome to My Fourth Grade Wiki Page

My first writing project was to write five similes pertaining to the topic of Halloween. A simile compares two differant things using like or as. Here are some I wrote.
The orange pumpkin was as bright as the sun.

The rotten pumpkin is as brown as tree bark.

The smooth pumpkin is as dark as the night sky.

The fat pumpkin is as round as a giant orange ball.

The giant pumpkin was as big as a soccer ball.

Leaning Project-The Galaxy

Facts:

The average galaxy has 100-200 billion stars.
Galaxies with less than a billion stars are considered “small galaxies”.
Galaxies are sprawling space systems composed of dust, gas, and countless stars.
Almost every galaxy has a black hole in the center.
Galaxies are classified into three main parts: spirals galaxies, elliptical galaxies, and irregular galaxies.

Opinions:

We should learn more about galaxies.
It’s weird that galaxies with less than a billion stars are considered small galaxies.
I think it’s cool that almost every galaxy has a black hole in the center.

Galaxies are awesome.
I think the Andromeda is a cool galaxy
