My first writing project was to write five similes pertaining to the topic of Halloween. A simile compares two different things using like or as. Here are some that I wrote.

The orange pumpkin was as delicious as a slice of pumpkin pie.

The bumpy pumpkin was as bumpy as a rock.

The round pumpkin was as round as a bouncy ball.

The pumpkin was as stinky as a garbage can.

The pumpkin was as moldy as a piece of bread.

In 1909 long before Suzuki dirt bikes Michio Suzuki was making high quality weaving looms for Japanese silk industry.
In 1954 Suzuki changed its name to Suzuki Motor Co.
The forerunners of the Suzuki dirt bike range is being exported to America for the first time.
With sports of motocross gaining popularity from the late 60s Suzuki dirt bikes cemented their dominance on the sport.
Suzuki dirt bikes are also sold in Australia.

Some riders can do awesome tricks.

Off road vehicles were first made available in the early 1960’s.

Some of the first ATV’s were six wheeled opposed to the more common 4 wheelers of today.

Originally brake lights were not required on ATV’s it was not until 1998 that they had a requirement.

At slow speeds ATV’s rear wheels will move in the opposite direction of the front wheels.

It is illegal to operate ATV’s with snorkels for deep water crossings in Minnesota.

The first modern 4 wheeled ATV was released by Suzuki in 1983.

The ignition kill switch on ATV’s is set by industry standards to be on .the left side of the handlebars.

In 1986 Honda released the four tracks trx 35 4x4 that ushered an era of popular four wheel drive ATV’s.

By the early 90’s people began to realize that ATV’s are great work vehicles.

The Honda Rubicon was the first production ATV with a built in gps.

Did you know that Rosebud mining company’s history started when the company was founded by J. Clifford Forest in East Brady Pennsylvania and operated a railroad siding, loading coal on railcars?

Did you know mines were developed as the market demand for coal allowed, with Rosebud opening new mines in the following order: Rosebud #2, Tracy lane, Duct run, Josephine#3, Armstrong run, Twin rocks, Clemente mine, and McVille preparation plant, Stitt mine, Logansport, and Little Toby?

Did you know in August 2008 Rosebud completed and began operation at its Tusky preparation plant opened its lowry mine and purchased Darmac #2 mine?

Did you know the Bigler preparation plant was purchased in June of 2008 it is a 300 ton per hour plant and is serviced by RJ Cornman railroad?

Did you know the plant is also a clean 300 per hour plant and has a rail access to the Ohio central railroad which is now owned by the Gennesee and Wyoming railroad?

Did you know that Logansport mine began operation January of 2002 and is located in Kittanning?

Did you know on December 31, 2010 Rosebud acquired Tjs mining Inc and most of its offiliated companies?

Did you know that this aquistion included two deep mines Rossmoyne and Tjs #6 mines and four surface mines?

Did you know now, the company operates twenty underground mines, sixteen
surface mines, and eight coal preparation plants?

Did you know that all of Rosebuds mines are located in Pennsylvania and Ohio, mining coal from the upper Freeport, lower Freeport, upper Kittanning, middle Kittanning, and lower Kittanning seams?
